When should you contact an electrician?

Arrange an assessment if sockets or switches are damaged, circuits keep tripping, lights flicker, equipment behaves unpredictably or you notice heat, unusual smells or discolouration. Planned additions should also be checked against the existing installation before work begins.

 

What happens during the visit?

We listen to the problem, inspect the relevant parts of the installation and explain the available options. Where practical, straightforward repairs can be completed during the visit; larger or additional work is discussed and quoted clearly.

 

What can you expect?

The agreed work is completed neatly, tested and explained in plain English. We welcome smaller jobs as well as planned improvements, and electrical work is carried out to BS 7671 requirements.
